Overview:
The Workforce Planning Engineer supports the development and execution of scalable labor planning and resource optimization strategies to ensure front-line operations teams are appropriately staffed to
meet business demand. This role focuses on building and maintaining workforce models, tools, and analytics that enable accurate forecasting, resource loading, and deployment planning across a national
operations network. The Workforce Planning Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, HR, IT, and Finance, to ensure labor strategies are data-driven, operationally feasible,
and aligned with company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain labor forecasting models incorporating seasonality, demand trends, and service-level

    requirements.

  • Analyze job-level and crew-level resource requirements to support accurate labor loading across shifts,

    markets, and time periods.

  • Analyze workforce data and trends; deliver reports and dashboards to support labor planning and decision-

    making.

  • Design and maintain tools to support labor planning, crew deployment, and schedule optimization.

  • Support assessment of market capacity and labor needs to inform staffing plans and coverage strategies.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Operations, and Finance to support the development and rollout of labor planning

    solutions.

  • Assist in field adoption of workforce tools and provide analytical support for labor-related initiatives and

    operational pilots.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workforce planning processes and improve model accuracy and

    usability.

  • Support modeling of workforce impacts for changes such as territory shifts, service line expansion, and

    organizational redesigns.

  • Maintain documentation and SOPs for workforce models, tools, and data flows to ensure knowledge transfer

    and standardization.

  • This role may require up to 15% travel to field locations for planning assessments, implementation support,

    or field validation.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

DESCRIPTION

Minimum
4 Year / Bachelor’s degree
in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field. Or combination of relevant education and training
