Workforce Planning Manager (Operations) Toyota Finance Australia has an opportunity for an experienced Workforce Planning Manager to join our team. Work for a leading, innovative and well-respected global brand Permanent opportunity, based in Scoresby (VIC) Fantastic staff benefits and career development opportunities What you'll contribute to As a Workforce Planning Manager, you will lead the end-to-end workforce planning strategy for all teams servicing Toyota Finance customers. You will ensure resources are optimally planned and aligned to customer demand, service standards and commercial outcomes balancing long-term strategic planning with day-to-day tactical execution. This is a critical leadership role partnering closely with Operations leaders. You will provide thought leadership and practical guidance, enabling the business to make informed, data-led decisions across forecasting, capacity planning, rostering and real-time performance. A key focus of the role is building a sustainable and flexible rostering environment that consistently supports positive customer and Dealer network outcomes. You will lead and develop a team of Workforce Planning Specialists and Real-Time Analysts, fostering capability, accountability and continuous improvement. Through strong coaching and clear expectations, you will build a high-performing team able to adapt to changing demand and business priorities. The Workforce Planning function supports a complex, rostered environment operating 7 days a week, covering application and settlement processing, customer service calls and collections activities. You will bring structure, discipline and strategic insight into this environment while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and a sharp focus on service excellence. How you'll make an impact Lead, motivate, develop and coach your team (Workforce Planning Specialists and Real-Time Analysts) to exceed customer expectations and deliver on tasks as well as People Leader Fundamentals Manage and ensure the delivery of accurate forecasts for Operations teams workloads and resources, monitoring drivers against business change & developing models to improve accuracy Manage the bi-yearly budgeting processes to ensure resources are budgeted in advance and as accurately as possible Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workforce plans deliver the best outcomes for each area Ensure teams have the resources and knowledge necessary to deliver on customer and stakeholder expectations Proactively identify areas for opportunity, using a data driven approach to make recommendations Actively support the business and team through change management and implementation Deliver, enhance and develop insightful reporting to assist the business in understanding performance Your attributes 5+ years of experience in workforce management, ideally in an operations environment 2+ years of experience in people leadership Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work under pressure and drive change initiatives towards positive outcomes Experience working with cross-functional teams in a financial services / operations environment Demonstrated technical capability across workforce planning functions with Verint software system experience Demonstrated ability to manage and work through uncertainty whilst staying solution focussed Life at Toyota & What we offer you We pride ourselves on a work culture that supports and rewards people.
