MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in Social Services, Business, Marketing or related. International degrees must be evaluated for Canadian equivalency.
- 1-2 years of business development, sakes, or outreach experience
- Strong knowledge of the labour market
- Effective organizational and time management skills; ability to meet targets and deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact and communicate with a wide range of individuals and personalities, including community professionals, clients, colleagues, staff, volunteers, and employers
- Computer literate; the ability to learn systems used by the agency (ie. SalesForce)
- A clear Police Vulnerable Sector check is required for this position
Our ideal candidate will also have:
- Valid Ontario driver’s license as travel is required for this position
- Certification from an institution, such as VRA Canada or ICCI
- Employment Ontario knowledge and exposure
