Job Description We’re on the lookout for a Workforce Specialist to join our team and work closely with our Workforce Planning Lead and wider team to make sure our stores are set up for success - every hour, every day. This is your opportunity to play a key role behind the scenes shaping how we plan, measure and optimise workforce performance across our 180 store network. You’ll combine analytics, collaboration and commercial insight to ensure our stores are resourced to deliver at their best. A bit about the role: Effectively maintain a labour model that assesses store capacity and workload at any given time Ensure stores have the right people, in the right place, at the right time to deliver operational excellence Continuously review & refine our labour scheduling model to support smarter, more efficient rostering Partner with the wider Operations team to test and validate model assumptions and drivers Adapt and evolve workload models to reflect changes in store formats, processes and ways of working Monitor performance against labour allocations, identifying variances , trends and opportunities Deliver clear, insight-led reporting to support decision-making across the Operations team Qualifications Previous experience in workforce planning is essential preferably in retail A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with key stakeholders Strong analytical capability, with advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI Confidence in translating data into clear, actionable insights Strong commercial awareness and communication skills A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on driving better outcomes Additional Information We offer a dynamic, supportive team environment within a business that cares about and recognises individuals. Responsibilities
The Workforce Specialist will maintain and refine labour models to optimize store capacity and scheduling across a 180-store network. They will collaborate with the Operations team to provide data-driven insights that ensure stores are effectively resourced.
