Description We are seeking a high-level CNC Foreman who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. This is not a "desk job." We need a leader who can manage the workflow of the shop floor while remaining deeply involved in the technical success of every project—from the first setup to the final part. Key Responsibilities Hands-On Leadership: Oversee daily shop operations and provide mentorship to operators, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Expert Setup: Lead the setup of complex CNC milling jobs, ensuring machines are dialed in for maximum efficiency and precision. Tooling & Inventory: Manage the procurement of perishable tooling (end mills, inserts, drills, etc.) to ensure zero downtime. Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of defense for technical issues on the floor; diagnose and resolve program errors, mechanical hiccups, or finish issues. Process Improvement: Identify ways to reduce cycle times and improve setup repeatability. You should be an expert in workholding, tool selection, and speeds/feeds. Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to read blueprints, interpret G-code, and solve geometric or mechanical problems on the fly. Inventory Management: Experience tracking tool life and ordering shop supplies Leadership Qualities: Strong communication skills and the ability to keep a team motivated and on schedule.
