ConvertMy are growing and booked up well into 2026. We are looking for skilled working foremen to join our team and work on projects across Trafford - all of our jobs are within the Trafford area.

JOB SUMMARY

You must be good at your trade, known as a team player with the ability to lead small to medium sized projects. You are proactive and polite and constantly display a can do attitude. In short - you have your own trade, you are known as a good person and happy to help others.
We run 3-5 jobs at a time. You will run your job but keep abreast of whats happening around you. You will visit sites and help on the tools where needed. You will point out potential issues, identify problems before they happen and show the team how things can be improved.
We keep our customers and staff members happy. Our sites are safe and tidy. We have work every day and you will ensure that the jobs run efficiently and to the highest standards.

EXPERIENCE

• Man management and site organization
• You must be trade qualified (ideally joinery) and have completed an appropriate apprenticeship
• Punctuality - You are NEVER late.
• Ability to read architects and structural drawings
• You must have your own tools
  – Experienced in this type of job role
  – To be friendly, approachable, polite and presentable
  – To understand and deliver good customer service
  – Good attention to detail
  – To demonstrate good time management and project management skills
  Hours of Work: 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday
  28 Days Holiday Per Year

• To lead onsite teams in the construction of building projects
• Liaise with clients, and various professional trades
• To undertake, as and when required, joinery work associated with major and minor construction work
• To install doors, door frames, windows etc.
• To undertake all works as necessary in the installation of flooring, roofing, skirting, ceilings and general construction
• To construct as and when required cupboards, shelving, fencing, carcassing, simple formwork and pitched erection of roof trusses and flat roofing construction etc.
