Description Working Pipe Crew Foreman Job Description: **Attention** If you are not a team player and/or a leader, please read no further. Working Pipe Foreman This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Foreman in water, sewer, and storm systems. The position holder must be available Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 5 PM for at least 40 hours per week, with the possibility of working weekends. This position holder will be willing and able to work overtime as necessary to complete projects in accordance with the General Contractor's schedule. Requirements This position calls for experience in the following areas: LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT SKILLS • Hands-on Utilities/Pipe installation. • Operating Equipment, Trenching (including layout). • Blueprint reading skills and attention to detail. • Ability to use mobile devices for daily log input and supply/material requests. • Maintain time and work records to prepare associated reports. • Good verbal and written communication. • Capable of leading and motivating crew members to complete tasks on time. • Keep a safe job site for employees and equipment, and complete regularly scheduled check-ins.
Responsibilities
The Working Pipe Foreman is responsible for hands-on utility pipe installation, equipment operation including trenching and layout, and ensuring tasks are completed according to the General Contractor's schedule. This role also involves maintaining a safe job site and leading/motivating crew members to achieve timely task completion.
