You will lead a team of maintenance technicians while ensuring equipment, machinery, and building systems operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibility. You will manage preventive maintenance programs, coordinate corrective repairs, monitor maintenance metrics, control inventory, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Your leadership will directly impact equipment reliability, cost control, and overall site performance. What You’ll Do Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team Schedule and manage preventive maintenance (PM) programs Lead troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems Conduct routine inspections to identify risks and prevent failures Review and prioritize maintenance work orders Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits Train, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians Track downtime, asset performance, and maintenance costs Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts usage, and repairs Manage spare parts inventory and order materials as needed Support budget tracking and cost control initiatives Report maintenance metrics and performance data to senior leadership Partner with operations and other departments to coordinate downtime Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase equipment reliability Ensure timely communication to support customer satisfaction Requirements What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of maintenance experience At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Experience using CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, Infor EAM, etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong leadership and team development skills Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards Excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Experience in manufacturing or industrial facilities Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM), OSHA certification, or similar credentials Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives Project management experience Technology & Physical Requirements Proficiency with CMMS for work order and asset tracking Strong Excel skills for maintenance reporting and analysis Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in industrial environments (heights, confined spaces, varying temperatures) Flexibility to work outside regular hours when operational needs require Our Commitment to Safety Safety is not just a policy — it’s a core value.
