POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Participation in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours Emergency Services
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various environments
  • Comfortability working in environments that may be contaminated with heavy smoke residue, mould and mildew, contaminated water or other unsanitary conditions
  • Active participation in on-going training and safety certifications as needed
  • Commute to on-site locations and the office when necessary.
  • Sustained periods of standing, sitting, bending and kneeling
  • Sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals and objectives
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
  • Ability to work well with shifting priorities and change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to complete skilled tasks – drywall, paint, patch, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ideal candidate is incredibly organized, punctual, with strong communication skills and is able to work independently or as a team.
  • IICRC certifications are strongly preferred (WRT, AMRT, ASD)
  • Construction background
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Strong Computer skills – Microsoft Suite, CRM, etc.
  • Xcelerate & Encircle experience is considered an asset.
  • Valid Class G Drivers License and clean driver’s abstract
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Health and Safety Representative experience is considered an asset
