About the role We are looking for a working student to support the preliminary development of our cargo drone. This is a hands-on role focusing on aircraft level aerodynamic simulations and concept design. Your responsibilities Perform high-fidelity CFD simulations using commercially available solvers Provide key drone aerodynamic characteristics and support design team with performance and stability characteristics Evaluate design changes and perform optimization of the existing drone architectures Document and communicate CFD results with the design team Improve the CFD simulation tool chain and data exchange with the design team Perform / support aerodynamic related testing Your profile Currently undertaking a master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering Major in the field of Aerodynamics / Fluid dynamics or similar In depth knowledge and experience in numerical simulation methods Basic understanding of Flight Physic and aircraft performance hand calculations Basic experience with low or mid fidelity CFD solvers would be plus (OpenVSP, FlightStream or similar). Hands on attitude with an ability to work and deliver independently Ability to summarize and present the work done.
