JOIN EXPATRIO Expatrio is an ambitious Berlin-based start-up in the field of Fintech and Edtech and currently has a vacancy for the position as Working Student - Customer Support (Berlin Office) Our goal is to make the way to and in Germany as easy as possible for international students. If you want to support us in this goal, then you are exactly right with us! YOUR ROLE You will be the first point of contact for our international customers for inquiries regarding our product by supporting our customer support team via live chat (onsite) and internal tools You will make sure that our customers get excellent customer service Your main tasks will include the verification of customer documents (passports, visas, certificates of enrollment, proof of address, etc.) You will manage live chat support for customers who visit or contact our Berlin office (we do not provide in-person support, but you will assist them by connecting them to chat support) You will have your own responsibilities and also support our customer support agents with ad-hoc tasks YOUR PROFILE You have some experience in customer support or administrative tasks You are available for at least a 6-month onsite internship in Berlin You have strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset You are proficient in English; German and/or Mandarin are a plus If you have experience in the banking, document verification, or health insurance industry, you can easily understand our product, but if you don't, we are happy to teach you everything you need to know PLUS: Ideally, you already have some experience with helpdesk software (such as Zendesk or similar tools) WHY EXPATRIO?
