Job description
The Team – your impact
Our team for the Cyber Security Portal is set up internationally and lead from our Hannover office. The tool is the central hub for a wide range of preventive security measures used by various user groups throughout the E.ON Group. It involves complex workflows, data-loaded interfaces, and specialized terminology. Your task is to ensure that this complexity is reduced and communicated in a clear and user-friendly way that is also visually appealing.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

  • Clarify complex information to help users understand what actions to take, where to click, or what certain states mean
  • Drive visual and communication consistency to prevent an inconsistent user experience
  • Enhance the onboarding experience for users and boost their engagement by creating and maintaining onboarding screens and product tours
  • Ensure the app conveys a professional, coherent and trustworthy experience by reinforcing the “brand” to both developers and users
  • Support change management when deploying new features or process changes, so that users understand what is changing and why

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

  • Enrolled as Bachelor or Master in Communication Design, Graphic Design, UX Design, Business Informatics, IT Security, Business Administration, or similar
  • Strong problem-solving skills and visual storytelling ability
  • Ability to create clear, compelling narratives from complex business or technical information
  • Sensitivity to tone, context, and accessibility in visual communication
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members
  • First experience with agile rituals, such as stand-ups, retros, sprint plannings
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Fluency in English and German is essential
