BESTSECRET has a strong track record of profitable growth over many years. It generated preliminary revenues of approx. EUR 1,415 million in 2024 and employs around 2,300 people from over 90 nations. The Group draws on a heritage of 100 years in the textile and fashion industry and today is owned by Permira Funds and the founding families Schustermann and Borenstein.
As part of our Data Science unit, you will sit directly with the Pricing team, using your expertise to advance and refine our pricing engine. Your main task will be to design, build, and continuously improve sales and demand forecasts that deliver critical insights for pricing decisions. While your day-to-day work is closely aligned with business stakeholders, you will be supported by—and contribute to—a broader community of data scientists and engineers.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, economics).
  • You have some hands-on experience with Python and are comfortable working with data using pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries. SQL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic data analysis concepts and prior familiarity with regression, time series, or forecasting is needed.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a real-world business environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
