ObjectBox (Techstars ’17) is a company that helps App & IoT developers develop faster apps faster by ensuring data is where it is needed when it is needed. ObjectBox is optimized for small connected devices. Our users are the developers of mobile and IoT apps. If you are not that technical, think of it as a Dropbox for App & IoT developers running in the background of the application.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Do you have ideas for design, branding and marketing beyond mere pixel pushing? And can you execute on them? Are you ready to test your impact in the real world with your ideas, designs, works? At ObjectBox, there is a lot you can do, try out, and measure how your ideas and designs help reach set goals (e.g. website visitors, SEO rankings, followers, clicks, conversions).
Do you want to learn more about how to grow a business with digital marketing? Perhaps you want to start your own company later – or maybe you already have and you’re looking to learn more? The funded and growing team at ObjectBox is seeking a design / digital marketing working student (or intern) to join us remotely and help us grow.
We are looking for a dynamic and entusiastic doer who wants to implement ideas to help grow ObjectBox in new and exciting directions. The opportunities are endless, here are some of the things you would be doing:
– Help design and shape presentations
– Create social media images
– Develop videos from storyboard to taking it live
– Create visualizations / graphics for the website(s), presentations and articles (potentially do a redesign of the website with us)
– Develop own ideas to drive engagement on the website, social media channels, etc., e.g. how about building up a TikTok Channel for ObjectBox? or engange more atively on LinkedIn? Test out Twitter alternatives…
– Depending on skillset: write articles, redesign / optimize the website, SEO
– Learn to use new tools like Hubspot, Confluence, GitBook, WordPress, Buffer, and many more

WHAT YOU BRING

We’re still very small, so everyone is expected to do a bit of everything to keep the business humming. We are looking for someone that comes with the entrepreneurial drive to take our company to the next level together with us. Apply, if that’s you and you bring:
– a high level of motivation
– a hands-on mentality: you aren’t afraid to jump in and implement ideas yourself
– savvy with all things digital
– Good knowledge of graphic and / or video tools, e.g. Photoshop, After Effects, …
– Ideally good knowledge of Social Media and Website tools like WordPress, Buffer, …
– any hands-on experience with content creation
– currently Bachelor / Master student in a relevant field (Design, Multimedia, Digital Media …)
– Good English language skills
– Track record for getting things done (just send over your portfolio or some links)
Last not least, you should enjoy taking over responsibility and appreciate working independently
