WE HELP THE WORLD RUN BETTER

At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.

Responsibilities

We are looking for motivated master students in the exploration and development of innovative AI solutions within the SAP BTP Cloud Infrastructure. This thesis opportunity provides a platform to collaborate with a diverse team and gain profound insights into cutting-edge AI technologies. In your role you will help finding effective approaches to identify the root cause of failures or performance issues in cloud infrastructure.
The research questions we’d lie to address are:
What Kubernetes Custom Resources (CRs) changes lead to service failures or degraded performance?

How can automated systems detect and analyze these changes efficiently?

  • System logs and monitoring tools
  • Application codebase
  • Kubernetes resource states (e.g., Failed, Succeeded, Pending)
  • CI/CD pipeline logs
