Our Group Risk department ensures the excellence in risk modeling and risk management for the Allianz Group and it's subsidiaries. Group Risk provides ownership and subject matter expertise for risk models, which includes developing guidelines and frameworks, governance and support for the internal risk capital model as well as the standard model. The Working Student (f/m/d) Risk Analysis for Alternative Assets will be embedded in Group Risk`s Center of Competence for alternative assets, and is supporting risk analysis & modeling of investments in e.g. real estate, private equity, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects. How can you make an impact? Perform quantitative analysis for calibration of risk models, particularly for Alternative Assets (e.g. time-series based models in R) Support on operational tasks in context of the Solvency II Internal model (e.g. quarterly risk capital closings, monthly counterparty limit runs) Contribute to the ongoing development of internal tools in R/Python/PowerBI (e.g. for reporting purposes). What are you made of? Minimum Qualifications Enrolled at a university for the entire duration of employment Ideally already completed undergraduate studies in statistics/data science, mathematics or related field of study Fluent in Business English; German would be a plus High motivation to learn about alternative assets with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Strong analytical skills, fast learner and attentive to details Good communication and interpersonal skills We can only consider your application if you provide the following documents: Certificate of enrolment (exception gap year) Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens).
