As a Working Student in Central Europe Finance, you will support our finance team in the daily operations of our Central European entities. This role offers hands-on exposure to operational accounting, closing activities, and cross-border financial coordination in an international environment. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities for our Central European entities Maintaining financial records with a high level of accuracy, completeness, and integrity Preparing and organizing documentation for internal and external audits Coordinating with different departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure smooth financial workflows across borders Supporting compliance with internal accounting standards and relevant statutory requirements Applying and developing your understanding of HGB in practical accounting processes Current studies in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field A solid foundation in double-entry bookkeeping and general financial principles Good knowledge of HGB The ability to work confidently with German tax and accounting documents and communicate effectively in English-speaking regional meetings A reliable, diligent, and highly detail-oriented working style A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for your tasks, with accuracy as a non-negotiable standard Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken Willingness to work on-site in the office, as we believe face-to-face collaboration is essential for learning the nuances of Central European accounting We value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Our workplace: Located in a modern and sustainable office building just a few steps from Südkreuz station, making it easily accessible for all employees.
