During your assignment you will actively monitor application security logs and analyze security events to detect and ward off threats early. You will regularly conduct infrastructure scans to proactively uncover vulnerabilities and security risks. Furthermore, you will work closely with our IT security team to continuously improve protective measures. Finally, you will evaluate the information security status of our infrastructure and specifically identify potential for optimization. Qualifications Education: studies in the field of Informatics, IT Security, Cybersecurity or comparable Experience and Knowledge: basic knowledge of information security; experience with security tools; programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, C++); experience with techniques in vulnerability management or bug‑bounty programs is a plus Personality and Working Practice: you excel at analyzing complex facts, independently communicating clearly, and meticulously structuring work Work Routine: your on-site presence is required with the possibility to work remotely part of the time Languages: fluent in English, good in German Additional Information Start: according to prior agreement Duration: 12 months – 10 h/week Requirement for this working student position is the enrollment at university.
