ABOUT THE TEAM

We are looking for a working student to support our Data Migration Team, and related Data Management activities as a scrum master.
We are EDT - Data Migration Team transforming the way our organization handles data. As part of our Data Migration division, we are responsible for the seamless transition of critical data across various systems. We work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility throughout the migration process.
Our team operates within an Agile framework, emphasizing collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. By employing SAFe and Agile Release Trains (ARTs), we maintain a consistent and structured approach to project management, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
The team consists of experienced data engineers, analysts, architects, developers and project managers who bring diverse expertise to the table. We are committed to fostering a supportive and innovative environment, where each team member can contribute to our collective success. As we continue to grow and tackle new challenges, we are looking for a driven working student to join us and support our mission in optimizing data management processes.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and organized Working Student to support ongoing product development activities within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. The role focuses on helping drive agility, structure, and clarity across projects developed on SAP BTP.
You will assist in planning, coordination, documentation, and process tracking across several product features including tasks such as sprint preparation, PI planning support, backlog grooming, and stakeholder follow-ups ensuring transparency, smooth execution, and alignment with internal development and governance practices.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Agile Development team with various organizational and technical tasks
  • Support PI Planning and Sprint ceremonies (prep meetings, scheduling, follow-ups)
  • Assist in quality checks like feature testing, verifying test coverage, change logs, and compliance reports
  • Help with maintaining and organizing the team backlog and feature boards in Jira
  • Prepare and update documentation, confluence pages, and sprint notes
  • Follow up with stakeholders for requirements, testing feedback, or status updates
  • Track dependencies and facilitate cross-team alignment where needed
  • Coordinate with developers and product owners for demo preparation

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or master studies in Information Technology, Business Administration or related
  • Good communication skills
  • Well structured
  • Motivating and inspiring
  • Experience with SCRUM, SAFe and/or Jira preferred
  • Fluent in verbal and written English, German is a plus
  • Working from Walldorf or Hamburg office is required
