Hardware Development: Hardware development, including design of schematic and layout System Validation: Support system validation with microcontroller fundamentals and our toolchain, pairing PCB work with basic firmware configuration, datalogging, and simple scripting PCB Testing: Testing of power Printed Circuit Boards Motor Control Validation: Support motor control validation on our motor test bench by adjusting simple inverter settings and performing speed and torque profiles, recording key signals (voltage, current, temperature) for comparison and benchmarking Market Research: Competitive analysis and benchmarking summaries Technical Documentation: Documentation of the work with a clear focus on customer enablement and creation of related content Study Field: Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Sciences or similar Knowledge: Of motor control applications and inverter topologies (e.g., BLDC/PMSM, three-phase bridge, gate drivers) and of Power Switches MOSFETs / GaN (datasheet parameters understanding) Interests: Understanding of microcontroller basics (peripherals, PWM, ADC, UART) Personality: Hands-on mentality to make yourself familiar with laboratory testing equipment Way of working: Ability to pair solid hardware knowledge with applied software skills and enjoy working across hardware and software Skills: Basic knowledge of CAD systems for PCB design like KiCad, Orcad, Altium Designer and simulation tools like LTSpice/Simmetrix; ability to configure evaluation boards under guidance Language skills: Fluent level in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus We are on a journey to create the best Infineon for everyone.
