We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Working student (m/f/d) Design & Digital Fabrication Specialist to join our Team.
The 3DEXPERIENCE Lab is Dassault Systèmes’ Laboratory for disruptive innovation with positive impact on the world. We nurture startups with dedicated programs. We also boost creativity and innovation through targeted initiatives and community exchange. The FabLab is part of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab and offers access to digital fabrication machines such as laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC machines and more.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are passionate about digital fabrication, design and innovation
• You have expertise in operating and troubleshooting digital fabrication machines (such as laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC, etc.)
• You have CAD design skills, ideally with experience using 3DEXPERIENCE platform or similar tools
• You have a self-starter mindset, with the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and take initiative without waiting for others
• You have strong English communication skills (German is a plus)

• You will take ownership of projects in product design, architecture, or art & design, driving them from concept to completion
• You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot digital fabrication machines, ensuring their optimal performance
• You will identify opportunities for improvement and proactively implement solutions to enhance processes and outcomes
• You will develop and refine CAD designs using the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
• You will prototype, test, and iterate on new ideas to create functional and aesthetic solutions
• You will actively mentor and support startups in using FabLab resources effectively
• You will drive your own design projects, utilizing FabLab’s tools and 3DEXPERIENCE platform
