The Group Procurement at Bilfinger optimizes and manages the company’s procurement processes. It is responsible for global sourcing, compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements, and the promotion of sustainable procurement practices. By leveraging modern technologies such as eProcurement, Robotic Process Automation, and web-based dashboards, procurement processes are supported and optimized. The department works closely with various business units to meet the needs of internal and external customers and to support corporate objectives.

Your responsibilities include:

• Participation in various projects within the procurement department, involving both internal and external partners.
• Support of our annual ESG/sustainability initiative, especially in organizing and conducting supplier surveys.
• Analysis and optimization of supplier master data (including in SAP) and updating contract data in the SRM system.
• Assistance with administration and first-level support for our procurement tools (e.g., user setup, report generation, error analysis).
• Creation of documentation, training materials, and status updates.
• Communication with German- and English-speaking suppliers and corporate units.

We expect from you:

• You are ideally currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Business Informatics.
• Ideally, you already have some practical experience through previous internships.
• You have a strong affinity for numbers, data, and facts, as well as strong analytical skills.
• Excellent German and English skills to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
• A strong IT affinity and confidence in using common MS Office applications, especially Excel. (Initial SAP knowledge is a plus.)
• You are available for 15–20 hours per week at our Mannheim location.
