Our Monheim facility is the workplace of 90 RD&E associates from 14 nationalities and serves as the European headquarters for Ecolab’s R&D activities. All research and development work for the Institutional, Textile Care, Food & Beverage and Health Care divisions in Europe is carried out here.
We are looking for a

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Enrolled student in engineering (e.g. packaging -, mechanical engineering)
• Good communication & collaboration skills, excellent analytical skills and ability to work in team environment
• Good team player
• Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Fluency in English is a must

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to read and compare technical drawings and technical data sheets
• Able to create reports for notified bodies and authorities

• Define technical specification based on packaging performance requirements
• Writing packaging reports for highly regulated products
• Specify and conduct tests on a wide variety of containers used for the protection, display, and handling of products
• Work directly with current Ecolab vendors and third parties for testing externally.
• Communicate cross-functionally within RD&E and additionally to corporate functions such as Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales and Customer Service
