For our Operation and Product Development department, we are looking for a working student (x|f|m) starting from September 2025 for at least 12 months. The position is based in Ulm (Sartorius Stedim Cellca GmbH), Germany. In this role you would support the team in the further development of our cell line development platform for the production of biopharmaceuticals. As a working student, you will benefit twice: You will gain important professional experience while you earn some extra income aside from continuing your studies. Working 10 - 15 hours a week will enable you to still focus the majority of your time on your studies.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

Support the team in their daily work and on weekends as well as public holidays. The following methods will be conducted in the lab:

  • Passaging of mammalian cells on various formats
  • Small-scale bioprocesses in fed-batch or perfusion format
  • Protein analytics (product titer)

  • First experience with working under sterile conditions and handling mammalian cell lines
