• You are currently enrolled as a student in Germany and are able to come to our Berlin office at least once a week.
• Handling employee data, payroll preparation, and visa processes require a strong emphasis on discretion and professionalism.
• We seek a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Ideally, you already have experience in the area of HR/P&C (through studies, internships, or previous working student roles) and are interested in pursuing your future career in this field.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and intermediate knowledge of German language
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team setting.

People Operations is a strategic partner to the organization, supporting the success of Market Logic by successfully onboarding key roles, ensuring compliance with employment law, driving Employee Performance & Development topics, and fostering fairness in compensation. We are here for our Market Logicians, supporting them throughout the entire employee lifecycle. And what’s more, we are always aiming to be better, never afraid to challenge our own status quo

THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT THE TEAM

• Support People Operations admin tasks across all countries (Germany, US, UK, Austria & Belgium), including contract and contract amendments preparation, maintaining employee records, student attendance and documentation, maternity/parental leave processes etc.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation and processes, contributing to smooth and efficient employee lifecycle management.
• Assist in payroll preparation by ensuring accurate employee data and documentation
• Manage HRIS data in tools like ADP or Personio
• Support on- & offboarding processes, including communication with new hires and leavers, coordination of key steps, handling of Jira ticketing system and preparation of necessary documentation
• Serve as day-to-day point of contact for employee requests related to processes, documents, and general inquiries
• Take initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvements and support their implementation to enhance our operational excellence
• Support visa processes in collaboration with relevant authorities.
• Assist in optimizing and streamlining internal processes to continuously improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance
• Be an active member of the broader People team, share your ideas in weekly team meetings and support our roadmap initiatives to foster
