Here is a description of the role we are opening:

Responsibilities

  • Create Purchase Orders upon receipt of newly approved Purchase Requisitions (PR)
  • Send approved Purchase Orders to suppliers or contractors following internal PO approval protocols
  • Manage and file relevant documents related to POs, including the registration of order acknowledgments
  • Follow up with suppliers for order acknowledgments and monitor overdue delivery timelines
  • Act as a support function for internal teams, providing updates and answering procurement-related inquiries (phone/email)
  • Assist in the continuous improvement and accuracy of material master data

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s / Bachelor’s program (Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field).
  • Know how in purchasing, purchase orders, documentation, etc
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
  • Fluent in German & English
