Our internal safeAI ecosystem enables the safe, reliable, and sustainable development of AI applications. Its ongoing advancement relies on continuous improvement and effective resolution of technical challenges. As a working student, you will take on independent responsibilities, contribute directly to the stability and evolution of our internal frameworks, and support the implementation of CI/CD and DevOps processes. Closely integrated into real-world projects, you’ll gain hands-on experience in an innovative, future-oriented environment.

Tätigkeit:

• Development and integration of software components within our internally developed frameworks.
• Applying best practices of code testing and refactoring to existing code.
• Implementing and automizing CI/CD and DevOps processes.
• Identifying problems of the code basis and communicating them with the team.
• Participation in customer and research projects of the different departments.

Voraussetzungen:

• Experience in software engineering, ideally for analytics or machine learning applications and excellent programming skills in Python.
• Proficiency in automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team-based environment.
• Very good English skills; German is a plus.
• Familiarity with software design patterns, architecture, and system design, plus experience in MLOps (including training, evaluating and monitoring ML models) and with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) are helpful.
