YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Java, C++, Rust, Swift, TypeScript, or React
  • Demonstrated coding experience (e.g. GitHub contributions) is a plus
  • Passion for learning and exploring new technologies
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on execution
  • Fluency in German and/or English

Responsibilities

THE TEAM AND ROLE

As a Working Student in Frontend/Backend Engineering (all genders), you will join our development team and gain hands-on experience building complex, large-scale software in a mission-critical environment. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll help shape the digital infrastructure that supports real-world clinical care — learning how to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality code with real impact.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate directly with our core development team on real product features
  • Design, test, deploy, and maintain backend or frontend components of Avelios services
  • Learn how to build and maintain large-scale clinical software infrastructure
  • Work with modern technologies in a high-impact healthcare setting
  • Learn and apply best practices in secure and efficient software engineering
  • Contribute ideas to improve performance, usability, and user experience
