We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated, and relentlessly curious Working Student (M/F/D) to join the VMRay Labs team. Your Responsibilities Analyze real-world malware samples and emerging threats Develop detection signatures, such as YARA rules, as well as malware configuration extractors Research the current threat landscape and relevant cybersecurity trends Support the team in developing and maintaining internal tools and services Our Requirements Enrolled student (M/F/D) in the field of IT Security or Cybersecurity or Computer Science Foundational knowledge of network security and malware analysis Basic programming skills in a high level language (e.g. Python, Java, etc.) Fast and proactive learner with a hands-on mindset Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills Good communication skills in German and English High motivation and ability to work in a team Location Bochum Contact About us Would you like to work in a technology-driven scale up, where you can make an actual impact?
