COMPANY OVERVIEW:

We are a growing residential home building company dedicated to delivering high-quality homes and exceptional service to our clients. With a growing portfolio of residential projects, we are seeking a hands-on, experienced Working Supervisor to join our team and oversee day-to-day operations on site.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Working Supervisor will be responsible for both supervising and actively participating in the construction of new homes. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work alongside trades to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. In addition to overseeing new construction, the Working Supervisor will also be responsible for supervising and coordinating home warranty service calls to ensure homeowner concerns are addressed professionally and promptly.
The Working Supervisor will update the construction schedule daily and provide progress reports directly to the Director of Operations – Construction. A company truck will be provided for work use.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in residential home building or related construction supervision
· Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
· Hands-on construction skills with the ability to step in and assist as required
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
· Valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract (required)
· Knowledge of Buildertrend software considered an asset

Responsibilities

· Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
· Update and maintain the construction schedule daily, communicating changes and progress clearly
· Work hands-on to support construction tasks as needed (framing, finishing, site prep, etc.)
· Coordinate and manage sub-trades, suppliers, and labourers on site
· Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control at all stages of construction
· Maintain project timelines and report directly to the Director of Operations – Construction
· Enforce health and safety policies and ensure a clean, organized job site
· Oversee and supervise home warranty service calls to ensure timely and professional completion
· Represent the company professionally with clients, trades, and inspectors
