The Working Young Adults Research Analyst will study the needs and experiences of young adults in work and life, supplying insight to strengthen discipleship, programs, and events. Length of Service Commitment One year minimum Anticipated Time Commitments: 1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 8-12 hours per week 2. Participating in meetings/training: 2-3 hours per month Responsibilities/Duties: 1. Prepare semi-annual reports on young adult ministry effectiveness. 2. Collect data on educational, financial, and career development needs. 3. Research generational trends impacting young adult faith engagement. 4. Research how systemic poverty (low wages, student debt, housing insecurity) impacts young adults. 5. Gather data on education equity and access for young adults pursuing higher education or trade training. 6. Document the effects of systemic racism in hiring practices, internships, and early career pathways. 7. Track healthcare access and the challenges young adults face with affordability and coverage. 8. Research young adults’ perspectives on environmental degradation and its effect on their futures. 9. Explore how false moral narratives of religious nationalism influence young adults’ faith, politics, and civic engagement. 10. Research how militarization and the war economy affect communities where young adults live and work. 11. Document the experiences of migrant young adults, including barriers to employment, education, and belonging. 12. Provide a monthly report with trends, data, and recommendations for ministry leaders.               
Responsibilities
The Working Young Adults Research Analyst will prepare semi-annual reports on young adult ministry effectiveness and collect data on educational, financial, and career development needs. They will also research generational trends impacting young adult faith engagement and document the effects of systemic issues on young adults.
