Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled WORKIVA Consultant to join our team for an exciting Short-term contract with one of our esteemed Fortune 500 clients, based in Canada. This is a REMOTE role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced independent contractor to lead the implementation of Workiva solutions within the financial services sector.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–10 years of experience in finance, risk, or audit technology projects
  • 1–2 years of direct, hands-on Workiva implementation experience (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of reporting, risk management, and internal audit practices
  • Demonstrated success in leading system implementation projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
  • Implement and configure Workiva modules
  • Support financial statement external reporting processes
  • Manage risk and control functionalities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design tailored solutions, and drive adoption
  • Deliver training and provide ongoing guidance to client teams
