Description

OUR MISSION

At Vertical Aerospace, we are pioneering the way for electric aviation. The VX4, our eVTOL (electric, vertical, take-off and landing), ‘zero emissions’ aircraft will set a new safety standard for how we navigate the sky.
We won’t realise our mission following the same legacy processes and traditions our predecessors followed; instead, we want to ‘redefine’ aerospace best practices.
We are growing quickly from a prototype business to a scaling SME, and the next few years will be critical to our success and delivering on our ambitious goals of having the VX4 in service by 2030.

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTIONS (MULTI-LOCATION SITE DEPENDENT ON TEAM REQUIREMENTS)

  • Conduct weekly walkthroughs to ensure workspaces are clean, fully stocked, and presentable
  • Perform routine checks of fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and other safety equipment
  • Carry out scheduled fire alarm tests and site walk around, ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Manage minor repairs and maintenance activities across sites, updating the maintenance tracker accordingly
  • Oversee locker allocation, maintenance and planning
  • Maintain Company assets and ensure these are kept to a high standard
  • Maintain essential provisions across all facilities
  • Conduct weekly checks on the pool car, manage bookings and user access, and report any issues
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors, fostering strong working relationships
