SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES:

As a Bank at Work Program Relationship Manager at Pathfinder Bank, you will play a key role in managing and growing relationships with local businesses and their employees by offering convenient and tailored banking solutions. You will be responsible for introducing and promoting our bank’s products and services to business clients, ensuring their employees have access to financial services that meet both their personal and professional banking needs. Your role will involve providing financial advice, supporting businesses and their employees with banking solutions, and facilitating seamless service for all customers.

Essential Functions

  • Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with local businesses to implement and promote our Bank at Work program. Serve as the primary point of contact for business clients, ensuring their banking needs are met efficiently.
  • Work directly with business clients to offer employees easy access to banking products and services. Educate employees about the benefits of the program, such as checking and savings accounts, loans, retirement plans, and digital banking tools.
  • Advise employees and businesses on personal and business banking solutions, including financial planning, budgeting, and investment strategies. Help employees understand their financial options and how to manage their finances more effectively.
  • Organize and facilitate on-site banking services for employees, including account openings, loan applications, and financial education sessions. Ensure all processes run smoothly and employees have a positive experience with the bank.
  • Provide businesses with the tools and resources they need to manage their finances effectively. This may include offering business accounts, merchant services, payroll solutions, and other financial products that align with their needs.
  • Actively promote and cross-sell bank products that would benefit both the business and its employees, ensuring alignment with their financial goals and needs.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and acting as a liaison between businesses, their employees, and the bank. Provide ongoing support to both the business and its employees to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth within the Bank at Work program. Seek out new business partnerships and expand relationships with existing clients to increase participation in the program.
  • Maintain knowledge of bank policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure all transactions and services are compliant with banking laws and procedures. Provide necessary documentation and reports to management as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 5 years of experience in business banking, relationship management, or customer service in the financial industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Proven ability to provide financial advice and solutions tailored to both business and individual needs.
  • Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations.
  • Sales-driven mindset with the ability to cross-sell and promote bank products effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.Experience establishing Bank-At-Work programs successfully.
