Description

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or expertise gained in a similar position
  • Relevant professional experience in Facility Management, preferably in an international organization, experience in Health, Safety & Environment is a plus but not mandatory
  • Experience in facility management and managing a team, fleet management, and working with external service providers
  • Experience in policy making & development, improvement, creation & implementation of operational procedures
  • Experience with financial management and budgeting is a plus
Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

  • Work closely with our iWX partner who will take care of the daily operations
  • Work closely with the Workplace Experience Lead – North Europe and serve as back-up and contact point for stakeholder (both internally within WX as externally) when required
  • Deploy the Workplace Experience (FM) policies and standards in line with the local, regional and global strategy
  • Workplace Experience projects and awareness campaigns for Belgium and work closely with the North European team members for alignment, harmonisation
  • Work closely with local site management
  • Oversee the fleet management (incl. stakeholders) for BE and NL, where the daily operational support is performed by our iFM provider
  • Ensure hospitality at our sites is at a high level aligned with the Hybrid Work Policy

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to local laws and Sanofi standards
  • Operational Oversight: Manage service providers, monitor KPIs, and ensure quality service delivery in the WX area
  • Financial Management: Handle budgets, purchase orders, and financial reporting for WX and HSE
  • Stakeholder management, engagement & Monitoring: Act as the main contact for internal and external stakeholders, including Site Management Team, P&C (HR), WX colleagues in the North European region, iWX provider, vendors, etc
  • Back-up: Act as the back-up for the Head of Workplace Experience Northern Europe from a Benelux point of view
  • Fleet Management: Oversee car fleet operations, reduce CO₂ emissions, and ensure policy compliance
  • Project management: Lead and support WX projects and continuous improvement initiatives at local level, as well as on North European level
  • Crisis Management: Participate in emergency response and business continuity planning
  • Reporting: Ensure consistent reporting of data which is published and audited on a regular basis
  • Hospitality: Ensure a high level of hospitality within the Belgium sites in support of our employees and the Hybrid Work Policy and establish a continuous improvement mindset to improve further the service and experience level
