OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health & Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our health and safety protocols within the organisation. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and fostering a culture of safety across all levels of the company. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to risk management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
  • Experience in conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying issues related to workplace incidents.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams while demonstrating leadership in health and safety initiatives.
    Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
    Pay: £33,608.85-£60,374.32 per year
    Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
