Australian Country Choice is one of Australia’s largest family-owned, vertically integrated beef supply chain companies, spanning primary processing, further processing, feedlots, livestock, rural production, and cold storage based in Brisbane, Cannon Hill. We are seeking an experienced WHS Safety Partner – PM Shift to join our team in a hands-on operational role that plays a key part in supporting a safe workplace, engaging with employees and leaders, and driving continuous improvement across our Cannon Hill site. Reporting to the WHS Manager, the WHS Safety Partner works closely with operational leaders and employees during the afternoon and evening shift to promote safe work practices, provide practical WHS support, and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. This role is instrumental in maintaining a visible safety presence on the production floor while fostering a positive safety culture across the business.   Key Responsibilities * Provide frontline WHS support and guidance to operational teams on the PM shift. * Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments. * Investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. * Support leaders in implementing safe systems of work and promoting safe behaviours. * Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee engagement activities. * Assist with incident reporting, injury management, and return-to-work processes as required. * Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, company policies, and procedures. * Support emergency response activities and maintain site safety standards. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to WHS initiatives and projects. * Build strong working relationships with employees, supervisors, and managers to strengthen the site's safety culture.   About You Qualifications & Licences * Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or working towards). * Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). * Current Driver's Licence.   Experience & Skills * Previous experience in a WHS Advisor, Safety Partner, Safety Coordinator, or similar role within manufacturing, food processing, logistics, or heavy industry. * Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, Regulations, and Codes of Practice. * Experience conducting workplace inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments. * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence positive safety behaviours. * Ability to work independently while building strong relationships across all levels of the business. * Well organised with excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. * Confident using WHS systems and Microsoft Office applications. * A proactive, practical, and solutions-focused approach to workplace safety. * Availability to work permanent PM shift hours.   Why Join ACC? * Competitive salary package. * Short term incentive bonus scheme * Discounted quality beef. * Permanent PM shift offering stability and work-life balance. * Opportunity to make a genuine impact on the safety and wellbeing of our people. * Values-driven, safety-focused culture. * Stable, long-term career opportunity with one of Australia's leading agribusinesses.     At ACC, our values guide everything we do: Belief – Pride in our people, products, and future Energy – Bringing positivity, drive, and momentum Responsibility – Accountability to our people, community, and environment Integrity – Acting ethically, honestly, and respectfully Grit – Persistence and a commitment to finding better ways Humility – Compassion, respect, and continuous learning Team – Working together to create a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.   Apply now If you're passionate about workplace safety, enjoy partnering with operational teams, and want to make a real difference in a hands-on PM shift role, we'd love to hear from you.
