The Company Vitality Works, part of the Sanitarium Group, partners with leading organisations across Australia and New Zealand to deliver evidence-informed workplace health solutions. Our Health Promotion & Injury Prevention (HPIP) team works across major infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, mining and utility environments to reduce injury risk and improve workforce capacity. We are seeking a clinician or exercise scientist to join our Brisbane team on a casual, sessional basis (a few days per month). This role is well suited to a Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Chiropractor, Occupational Therapist or Exercise Scientist looking to apply their expertise in a preventative, workplace setting alongside their primary role. The Role As a Workplace Health Consultant at Vitality Works, you will deliver structured, evidence-based health promotion and injury prevention initiatives on-site. Key responsibilities include: · Delivering workshops focused on musculoskeletal and psychological risk reduction · Conducting targeted health risk screenings (e.g. blood pressure, metabolic indicators) · Providing brief early-intervention consultations and preventative guidance · Supporting ergonomic and movement education initiatives · Building strong relationships with site leaders and stakeholders · Contributing to reporting aligned to measurable program outcomes You will operate as a trusted health professional within complex work environments, translating clinical knowledge into practical, scalable prevention strategies. About You · Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science or similar · Relevant registration/accreditation (where applicable) · CPR & First Aid certification · Strong communication skills and professional presence · Interest in occupational health, prevention and population-level impact · Workplace health experience is advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based health promotion and injury prevention initiatives on-site, including workshops and health risk screenings. Provide early-intervention consultations and ergonomic education while building relationships with site leaders.
