Job Description The Workplace Health & Safety Business Partner will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and monitoring Health and Safety initiatives across Guzman y Gomez. This role is crucial in ensuring the health and safety of all our employees, contractors, and guests while supporting our business objectives and legislative requirements. What you can expect in the role: Risk Management: Support the development of a proactive Health and Safety culture, assist in hazard identification, assessment, and control, and lead health and safety risk management projects. WHS Culture: Drive a strong WHS culture within GYG, collaborating closely with operational teams to enhance safety awareness and promote best practices. WHS Policy & Procedures: Maintain and review WHS policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with business operations and fostering a safe working environment. Consultancy and Expert Advice: Provide guidance to departments on corrective actions, offer expert advice on HS issues, and collaborate with leadership on system improvements. Incident Reporting & Issue Management: Ensure timely incident reporting, lead investigations for significant incidents, and analyse data to implement effective responses and corrective actions. Quality Systems/Auditing and Compliance: Coordinate annual audits, verify compliance with Safe GYG standards, and support departments in addressing audit findings. Consultation: Facilitate effective consultation processes, disseminate H&S information, and maintain documentation accessible to stakeholders. Compliance: Uphold GYG compliance standards through completion of mandatory training and continuous improvement initiatives.
