EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

  • National level qualification in facilities management, management, or customer services
  • Qualification in a building engineering services would be advantageous (preferably electrical)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the management of multi-site facilities management services in a corporate environment.
  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • IOSH qualified.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with client and team members at all levels
  • Ability to motivate on-site teams and drive exceptional experience
Responsibilities

PURPOSE

  • To confidently lead the ROI Workplace team teams and manage all processes within the day-to-day operation ensuring all service levels are maintained.
  • Oversee all services across the IFS contract liaising daily with all service lines (Workplace, Cleaning, Engineering, Security services & catering)
  • Lead small on-site projects and initiatives across the clients estate * To liaise closely with key client contacts as well as key users of the service.
  • To ensure resources meet demands in all areas
  • To proactively review all operational areas to maximise efficiency and develop the operation:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To oversee the work of the Workplace teams and to act as a point of escalation
  • To support the training, development and up-skilling of the Workplace team, and to maximise team building processes
  • To plan, allocate and monitor own work and that of the local Workplace teams to ensure targets are met and work is carried out to meet and exceed agreed standards, creating necessary conditions for maximum productivity.
  • To drive an exceptional service experience which provides a seamless interface for the service users whilst driving continuous improvement, sharing best practices and connecting the community.
  • To liaise with local client stakeholders, building relationships and establishing efficient lines of communication for any issues or comments.
  • To create and maintain a healthy, safe, and secure environment and ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation.
  • To ensure the local teams adequately support client requirements such as business continuity planning, information security, internal/external certification audits, financial, security and HSEQ data.
