If you're an experienced specialist who thrives in the trenches as much as in the strategy room—and you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact—this role is for you. The Role You Could Play Reporting to MECCA’s Head of Workplace Relations, you’ll be a driving force in bringing our workplace relations strategy to life. This role is hands-on: we don’t just design solutions—we help implement them. You will: Provide timely, practical and people-centred workplace relations advice across Australia and New Zealand. Support performance management, conduct, grievances, terminations and leave matters with both compliance and commercial awareness. Maintain and uplift MECCA’s workplace relations policies, employment contract templates and frameworks. Monitor legislative and industrial changes and translate them into clear business plans or actions. Lead or contribute to key projects such as compliance reviews, policy reform, Award interpretation and strategic workforce initiatives. What You Will Bring You’ll be a passionate employment and industrial relations specialist who can simplify complexity and turn strategy into action. You will bring: Tertiary qualifications in HR, Employment Relations, Law or a related discipline. 6+ years’ experience in employment and industrial relations (Australia essential; NZ a bonus). Proven experience coaching leaders and People Partners through people matters with confidence and clarity. Demonstrated success delivering WR/ER/HR projects and managing change. A collaborative and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to translate complexity into practical, actionable guidance. Responsibilities
