Contract Duration and Start Date - 1 Year (Project / Contract Basis) - Expected Start Date: Around April 2026 Job Responsibilities - Perform duties as Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) for the project. - Develop, implement, and enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and procedures in compliance with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) WSH Act and regulations. - Ensure site compliance with Risk Management (RM) Code of Practice, approved Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and in-house safety rules. - Oversee and enforce environmental management measures, including dust, noise, waste, and pollution control in accordance with National Environment Agency (NEA) requirements. - Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and environmental checks, and follow up on corrective actions. - Provide safety and environmental briefings, training, and guidance to site staff, workers, and subcontractors. - Investigate safety incidents, accidents, and environmental non-compliances, and recommend preventive measures. - Liaise with MOM, NEA, Building and Construction Authority (BCA), and relevant authorities on safety and environmental matters. - Maintain ISO, safety, and environmental documentation, records, and reports. - Prepare and submit weekly safety and environmental reports. - Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Project Team. Job Requirements - Registered WSHO with MOM (Singapore). - ECO certification recognised by NEA. - Degree or Diploma in Safety, Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent. - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the local construction industry. - Strong knowledge of: - Workplace Safety & Health Act - Risk Management (RM) Code of Practice - Local safety and environmental regulations - Experience in local building construction preferred. - Able to commit for 1-year project duration.
