As a workplace solution architect you will design, develop, refine and deliver modern workplace solutions containing physical and virtual clients, mobile devices and communication services to support and enable the organization’s digital workplace environment for all employees at Metro. Your Responsibilities: Developing, refining and implementing company-wide IT architecture for the workplace environment to ensure a seamless state-of-the-art experience for our employees using endpoints, identities and solutions Shape the transformation of the workplace infrastructure and solutions to implement Metro’s cloud strategy and ensuring alignment of technical approaches as well as cloud migration scenarios Advising product managers and domain/unit owners on technical vision and strategy You are setting the foundation and enabling the implementation together with internal colleagues and the external service provider Being constantly on the lookout for new inspiration to improve the architecture in and beyond your area of responsibility. Driving the modernization of endpoint provisioning and management towards the cloud by weighing up dependencies and following the right order of priority. Consult domain owners and product managers in implementing security measures across solutions and technologies. Manage architectural design in collaboration with external service providers Qualifications Required key competencies and qualifications: You have experience in analyzing, refining and creating Workplace architecture designs and documentation, meeting modern security requirements Minimum 10+ years of overall experience. 5+ years of experience as workplace solution architect for modern workplace Strong knowledge of modern Microsoft Platform and Cloud Services as well as traditional technologies (Microsoft 365, AD & Azure AD, Identity services, Windows Clients, Enterprise Mobility Management, Intune, Client Virtualization, Client Management, SCCM) Preferable knowledge in Omnissa Horizon and Workspace One platforms providing virtual desktop environments and store handheld management Leadership competence and experience as architect in complex and interdisciplinary projects Knowledge in design and management of large scale physical and virtual Windows client deployments Working collaboratively with various teams throughout the broader organization Having strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as solid communication skills Confident, positive, and strongly committed to customer orientation Strategic mindset and the ability to develop strategies and roadmaps Very good fluency in English (written and verbal) Work Model: Hybrid
