Salary: Technician Grade 1 with a Salary Scale of €37,315 to €48,465

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Level 8 qualification, (as recognised on the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent), in food science, chemical, life sciences or a related discipline.
• Business qualification such as Certificate, Higher Diploma or MBA.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Interest in food sciences and the food industry.
• Knowledge of the food industry.
• Experience of problem solving and solution development.
• Industry experience within the food sector.
• Experience within the meat industry would be desirable.
• Knowledge of meat processing and the meat processing sector.
• R&D project management experience.
• Knowledge of Intellectual Property management e.g. patenting/licensing.
