Description
The opportunity We are seeking a Works Coordinator to join our Energy and Utilities team based in Albany, Auckland. This role is responsible for managing and dispatching work orders across multiple contracts to ensure field crews are deployed efficiently and contractual KPIs are met. You will coordinate reactive and planned maintenance activities, monitor job progress in real time and act as the key link between clients, field teams and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include: • Allocate and manage work orders across multiple work streams • Dispatch jobs to field crews and service partners using scheduling systems • Monitor job status and ensure response and completion targets are achieved • Coordinate support services for field teams to prevent delays • Act as the main point of contact for clients internal teams and subcontractors • Manage inbound and outbound calls through the Genesys phone system • Maintain accurate job records and reporting in Microsoft Dynamics • Support operational reporting and workflow improvements using Power BI What we are looking for You are organised decisive and comfortable managing high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in works coordination logistics project coordination or customer service • Experience working in service delivery or field based operations • Proven ability to manage work orders and meet KPI targets • Strong communication skills with confidence dealing with multiple stakeholders • Experience using job management or scheduling systems such as Dynamics or similar • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and reporting capability • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands • A strong commitment to safety compliance and Zero Harm What we offer • A stable role within a large tier 1 contractor environment  • Exposure to complex contracts and operational environments • A supportive team focused on collaboration and performance • Ongoing learning and development opportunities About Energy and Utilities Downer Energy and Utilities delivers essential services across electricity gas water telecommunications and renewable energy.
