We currently have an opportunity for a Works Scheduler to join our Government & Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth, compliant, and efficient delivery of essential maintenance services across a key and impactful portfolio. Reporting to the Contract Director, you’ll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our essential services.   What You’ll Do  This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: * Coordinating and issuing Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules to operational teams and Service Delivery Partners (SDPs).  * Verifying the completion and quality of maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to contractual and industry standards.  * Prioritising and scheduling reactive works to support fast, effective responses to client needs.  * Maintaining essential services documentation and ensuring compliance for audits and regulatory requirements.  * Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.   What You’ll Bring  * Proven Experience in maintenance scheduling, facilities management, estate upkeep, or a similar environment.  * Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage concurrent priorities.  * Confidence working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and interpreting technical or compliance‑related data.  * Clear, collaborative communication skills, supporting strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.  * A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic operational environment.   More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.   Why Downer?
