POSITION SUMMARY

Role comprises of a mixture of office and workshop tasks and responsibilities for a leading Environmental Measurement Company, with a key Focus on Noise, Vibration and Dust monitoring systems for the construction industry.

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an office, workshop or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to plan, organise and manage individual work tasks.
  • Ability to co-ordinate with team members to organise electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Positive attitude with ability to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Previous experience within an engineering field is beneficial.
  • Ability to work as a team and individually on tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Liaising with customers and visitors to Environmental Measurements head office.
  • Answering and directing customer phone calls and emails in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipping, liaising directly with shipping companies and customs.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs and calibrations of EM monitoring equipment and liaise with service providers.
  • Organisation and preparation of mechanical and electronic equipment within office and workshop.
  • Management and organisation of environmental samples for external laboratory analysis.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as equipment documentation filing, data downloading of monitors and document preparation for monitoring reports.
  • Occasional monitoring tasks will be required to be undertaken out on customer sites.
