· The post holder may be required, at times of unpredicted scenarios, to assist in on-site preparation or removal of old kitchens to allow for installation of new ones.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE

The post holder will be part of small, supportive team who will be tasked with handling the intake of kitchen components, assembly of these components, and safe loading and delivery of completed kitchens to private clients houses or building sites for new builds. Daily tasks will vary so the post holder will have varying day to day responsibilities and have flexibility to meet the needs of the business. Glenwood of Antrim is a family-owned business who have been supplying and fitting quality kitchens for 40 years and we are looking for a dedicated and ambitious individual to join this growing team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

· This a hands-on, varied role in a busy workshop environment.
· Accepting the delivery of goods in, checking the delivery for accuracy and damages and following our reporting process for any variances.
· Assisting with the storage of deliveries in correct locations within the warehouse and updating documents as project materials arrive.
· Fitting kitchen doors, drawers, and mechanisms.
· Cutting worktops and panels.
· Maintaining workshop cleanliness, and health and safety at all times.
· Assisting kitchen fitters as and when required.
· Communicating with the production manager on a daily basis with the progress with projects and completed intake of kitchens.
· Contacting suppliers when missing or damaged items are reported.
Relevant training will be provided where necessary.
