Role: Workshop Chargehand
Location: Hillingdon, UB8 3EU
Hours: 45 hours per week | between 07:00 and 16:30 Monday to Friday
Are you a skilled leader with a knack for workshop management and hands-on repair work? Join our team at Hillingdon as a Chargehand! You’ll oversee the repair, refurbishment, and installation of Refuse Collection Vehicles and other equipment, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard. Your role will involve managing workshop personnel, maintaining quality and safety standards, and promoting a positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART INCLUDE:

• Working knowledge and experience of workshop processes
• Experience in MIG welding and medium-heavy fabrication of steel & welding (2mm - 10mm)
• Relevant educational qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance (or time served)
