    Here at Griffin Mill, we’re on a search for a Workshop Controller!
    Our Workshop Controller will be based at our friendly, Basecamp dealership in Treforest and as part of our Aftersales team, you will be influential in ensuring that our workshop runs smoothly, and any vehicle repairs and services are carried out to a high standard, in a timely manner.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Mechanical repair knowledge
  • Previous experience in a service and maintenance control role would be advantageous
  • Logical approach to prioritising and with great problem-solving skills
  • Well organized, proactive and committed to high quality work and standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Great attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft office understanding

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside Service Managers and Advisors to co-ordinate workshop work load
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with manufacturers specification
  • To deliver the customer service standards as outlined by the company procedures and policies
  • Log and allocate repairs and allocate to Technicians, maintaining accurate records of work and stock
  • Provide support to Technicians by ensuring they have the necessary information and parts for the task
  • Update and maintain accurate stock records, service schedules and breakdowns
  • Ability to monitor and control workshop output and efficiencies
  • Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout the repair and service process, conducting final inspections and audits to uphold high standards of workmanship and compliance
